All the guys that have had this knife in their hands have been very impressed with the great feel of power, outstanding wet gripping and solid weight with positive performance.

Heavy, but good balance in my hand. That is important to me. Solid for business. Handle is large and grippy. Blade a quarter inch thick 1095 and tapers to a needle point. Tough coating. Came sharp and will work for the purposes. If you want a combat knife a little bigger than the Kabar, this is it. I doubt that I could wear out this Szabo even if I wanted to. The tool has no negatives whatsoever!!

not to be confused with the original Kabar, this blade is a great redesign of the current bayonet/field knife that is fielded to the Marines.  it addresses every concern that most have, so long as you don&#039;t need it as a bayonet. 

this is nothing like a standard kabar, the only similarity is in the handle. I cant say enough on how much i love the shape of this blade from tip to pommel. It would be better with a kydex sheath, but this blade deserves a custom sheath anyways, A+ thanks TOPS

Ordered the Serrated here but it came as a plain edge so I&#039;m not sure if it&#039;s just mine or what but a little sad about it. Don&#039;t confuse with the timely Kabar as they are different even in handle. Sure the handle looks the same but this one is better and a different design. It&#039;s also a TOPS and it&#039;s build to last, be a one and done when you need to rely on it. Only complaint aside from the obvious sheath it just that mine came as plain even though it&#039;s listed as a serrated edge.
