I don&#039;t hunt pigs with knives, but who knows there could be a zombie apocalypse then you&#039;ll wish you had one of these babies. 

The blade shape attracted me to this knife. It is a nice design. It&#039;s built solid, has a comfortable handle, and even comes with a whistle! Wow! Tops makes great knives.

Why did I wait so long to invest in a TOPS knife?  If this quality is production wide then I foresee quite a few more in my roster.  The Wild Pig Hunter is truly a beautiful knife.  The nice even Black River Wash finish allows you to see the temper line. The finish is even and consistent and the knife came with no blemishes or grind marks on the surface. The micarta scales are well done and provide a very nice gripping surface that isn&#039;t to abrasive to the hand.  I cleaned the surface with break free to remove the small amount of packing grease on it and removed the scales to clean under them as well and with a little blue lock-tight it all went back together beautifully.  The leather sheath that came with it really is a nice high quality sheath that holds the knife securely and should last for many years and I will keep it around even though this knife is off to Patriot Leather for a custom scout sheath.  I have several top quality knives from other makers but I can see that this one will be my main carry knife when I am hunting or bumming around in the piney woods here.  This knife will lend itself to both defense as well as impromptu survival situation Heaven forfend that that should happen though.  One other thing TOPS sends out a really nice rescue whistle with this knife that is brilliantly loud. It was immediately confiscated by my 2 1/2 year old baby girl. I now know where she is in the house every-single-second. Blade HQ was wonderful to work with and after a couple of emails and a phone call since I like to do things the hard way the knife was on its way to me and here only two days after shipping notification.  You won&#039;t find a better price on this knife either.  The BEST price I have found on the internet anywhere!! If you are on the fence with this knife as I was do yourself a favor and just order it. You will not be disappointed with it in any way.  Again Blade HQ is great to work with and has the best prices around.  My wish list is filling up...
