Olamic Cutlery, founded in 2010 by Eugene Solomonik and his father, is the maker of this exceptional knife. Each knife is handmade in a small shop in Russia and is stamped with a unique serial number. The craftsmanship of the knife is top-notch, with four skilled craftsmen specializing in different areas of production. One focuses on blade forging and shaping, another on heat treatment and acid etching, and the remaining two on final assembly and handle work. Olamic Cutlery uses a proprietary and proven four steel mix, with an O1 base, to create their High Carbon Vanadium Damascus (HCVD) steel.
