The craftsmen at Olamic Cutlery are highly skilled and specialize in different areas of knife making, including blade forging and shaping, heat treatment and acid etching, and final assembly and handle work. The High Carbon Vanadium Damascus (HCVD) steel used in the Voynik knife is a proprietary blend of four steels, with an O1 base. This mix has been proven to be of the highest quality.
