I own a few Medfords along with Microtechs, Benchmades, and Spartan Blades and this knife is my favorite to carry.  The S45VN steel gets sharp and stays sharp. The size of the knife is perfect and doesn’t fill up my pocket but is big enough to be handled even with larger hands. Great feel in the hand. Pretty much replaced my other knives for daily carry.

Carried this knife as my main edc folder until I got my sheepdog. I still carry this one at times with my sheepdog. Before you go thinking god this guy just like big knifes think again. Ok actually I do and d2 steel is the bomb. I’ve got some old benchmade in d2 that are amazing user knives. Haven’t had to use the lock pin yet but I think it would work if needed. I through this knife in my go bag instead of a fixed blade sometimes. I used this knife hard and still do as I like it a lot for a folder. Cuts everything from plastic banding to animal hide no issue. I kind of like it more than my sheepdog except the sheepdog is a better slicer and for my knife use I primarily need slicers. 

This knife is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Just an overbuilt every day carry and the action is great, smooth flipper and thumb stud. I recommend this to anyone who is thinking about buying it.

I love this knife!  Not too big or small and operates so smoothly.  The blade is longer but very elegant and the lines of the knife flow well.  Kershaw is creating a lot of designs lately that sort of look like they were in the movie Tron or Star Wars...a lot of random fitted pieces of decorative elements on the handles.....I have mixed feelings about this although it is not a deal breaker to me....but does every new knife need to have it?   Anyway, I love this blade just because it is a bit more understated and has a clean elegant look to it.

Just received this purchase.  Couldn&#039;t be more pleased.  Smooth action, sturdy scales and very sharp.  Now my favorite EDC knife.

I wish I had bought this before I spent more on a Benchmade Taggedout as the Kershaw Bel Air seems to have better quality all around and opens and closes smoother than the benchmade out of the box and the blade is shaving sharp. I would recommend this knife and the carbon fiber scales are very nicely executed.

The Bugout was a good knife that everyone loved, but the Bailout improves on it in every way for me! What an incredible knife, excellent design, slightly longer handle which helps with my hands, tanto blade(my favorite), 3V steel while being dressed down in muted gray and black, great job BM! It&#039;s my EDC currently and will be for a while! I&#039;m probably going to buy a second one to play around with the upcoming mods it&#039;s that great.

Very light weight feel in hand or in pocket carrying it around daily or driving too. Never had a tonto point but it is excellent for puncturing into a boxes. Serrations is great for rope and cord cutting al day. Blade can take some prying but the handle should of been designed with full length sleeves so light prying only, the blade can take it. The handle is a non slip design and should protect your hand from slipping forward onto the blade. Handle does flex for lack of inner sleeve liners. The pummel or but end of the knife has room and more for a lanyard, it seems to made for high strength aluminum for it is non-magnetic compared to the blade. The clips is good and can be reversed or removed for a more flush feel if riding inside bottom of your pocket. I give it a rating of 4.5 stars for lack of sleeve liners.
