I appreciate this knife way more than I could have ever imagined. I have a ton of different fixed blades at a bunch of different price points and dollar for dollar this one punches way above its weight class. I picked this one up on sale for under $40 and never have I received a fixed blade under at that price point that is as sharp as this one out of box. One thing that is consistent among all Cold Steel products is a razor-sharp edge out of the box. This is no exception and the fit and finish is on point with the knife and sheath. The sheath is a little tight out of the box but breaks in readily. 10 out of 10 would recommend,

Benchmade Ball Flipper Axis Lock Knife Sand G-10 (3.18&quot; Satin) 300SN

Action is great, extremely strong axis lock and flips well. It doesn&#039;t have a detent so when you hear people complain how it sucks as a flipper let them know it isn&#039;t a conventional flipper... it uses the axis bar as the detent and obviously it is won&#039;t flip the same. Once proper technique is achieved, this knife is a pleasure to flip open and closed all day!

Solid knife. The flip is smooth but not fast because you’re fighting the axis lock. Well built. I’d even call it a hard use knife. The blade is thick and so is the handle.

I have had this knife for just over a year now and it is just plain awesome. But what else to expect from Benchmade? I use the crap out of this thing and the steel holds up great 154cm was a good choice. But even if it gets dull? Lifesharp! Great job Benchmade!

I have the blue/black handle one but it appears to have been de-listed. The fit and finish on this knife is solid and matches the quality I expect out of Benchmade. the G-10 grips looks nice but have had the &quot;grip&quot; polished off, so its a little smooth in the hand for my taste. Biggest gripe with this knife is that the flipper doesn&#039;t open the knife hard enough on its own, and must usually be accompanied by a flick of the wrist to ensure the axis lock engages. I assume this is due to the minimal detent the axis lock provides when the blade is in the closed position, releasing before you have built enough pressure on the flipper. The knife also comes with a built in thumb stud, so the point may be moot, but I prefer flippers and the fact that this is among the only Benchmades with a flipper is the reason I bought it in the first place. 

This is my fourth Benchmade but the first with the Axis lock. I really like the Axis it&#039;s one of the best mechanisms made . I also like the blade and it&#039;s 154cm steel. All that said I don&#039;t love the ergonomics, I like the look of the handle, color and G-10 is my favorite handle material.  I just think the handle is a little short and uncomfortable.  I removed the pocket clip and that helped but still not the feel I would like . That aside it is a very well made knife and great materials.

Feels great in either hand, but this is the first knife I have been happy to carry in my left pocket.  

These Civivi Vision FG knives are great, I own the Damascus version as well. The blade shape is nice and it comes very sharp from the factory. Nitro-V is basically AEB-L with the addition of Vanadium an Nitrogen so it is quite tough, which is good, because the blade is fairly thin. The dark green canvas micarta scales are DARK, quite grippy, and done well. The Super Lock is why you should buy this knife, it is AWESOME. The locking mechanism works great, lock up is rock solid, its very user friendly, and makes this knife addictive to open and close 1 handed. I bought this version so I can flip it open and closed to my hearts content, I’ll use the Damascus version for showing off.

Very good knife sharp out of the box! I was looking for a small fixed blade to carry and this one is great! 

Bought it cause why not, little fixed blade with a nice sharp tip. Tried it as it came, a neck knife, HATED it. Tried it horizontally on my belt for a righthanded cross draw, liked that for a little while until I missed my bigger folders. Tried it with an Ulti-Clip in my pocket, no space for my phone. FINALLY decided to try it again as a boot knife with the ulticip on my cowboy boots. This thing is awesome as a small &quot;just in case&quot; boot knife. went from hating it to loving it. Only gripe now is wish it was a better steel. 

Sheath could be a little more secure, and the steel could be stronger. But it&#039;s very sharp, convenient, and it has a very nice point on it.
