It boasts maple handles with a subtle, no-glare Caswell finish, and comes with an ambidextrous Kydex sheath for convenient carrying. Crafted by Daniel Winkler, who has been a full-time knife maker since 1988, this knife is part of the Winkler Knives product line. This line was developed in collaboration with Special Forces Teams from the U.S. Military and Allied Forces worldwide, ensuring that each knife meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. Unlike Winkler's hand-forged pieces, these knives are made using the stock removal process, yet they maintain the same level of excellence. Each knife in the collection is custom-made in Winkler's shop, reflecting the expertise and experience of warriors.
