The Smilodon, also known as the Saber-tooth, is a robust fixed blade knife designed by Wander Tactical. It boasts a lengthy 7-inch blade that is nearly 2.5 inches wide. Crafted to endure the toughest conditions, the blade is heat treated for maximum durability. It features multiple lashing points for versatile use and an exposed pommel that serves as an effective tool for blunt force. Constructed from a quarter-inch thick D2 tool steel, the knife has a sturdy drop point blade that is cryogenically heat treated to a hardness of 59-61 HRC, ensuring it maintains a sharp edge. The blade is coated with an Acidized Gunkote Clear KG Gun Kote finish, providing exceptional protection against corrosion, chemicals, oils, and solvents, and can withstand temperatures ranging from -320°F to 500°F. The handle is made from natural micarta, offering a comfortable grip and excellent control thanks to its grooved texture and dedicated finger choil. The knife comes with a fully MOLLE compatible kydex belt sheath, making it easy to carry on your hip or securely attach to your gear.
