The Spyderco Volpe folder is a highly sought-after knife from a renowned collection. It comes with its original box and is in excellent condition, with only minor imperfections. Fox Cutlery, a well-known name in Europe, has a rich history of knife manufacturing since the 1970s in Maniago, Italy. They are known for their combination of traditional materials, quality construction, and innovative designs. Collaborating with Lion Steel Knife, they incorporated high-grade finishing and CNC machining techniques. The result of their partnership with Spyderco is the Volpe, a Spyderized knife designed by Gabriele Frati and Gianni Pauletta (also known as G&G design) and manufactured in Maniago. The Volpe, which means "fox" in Italian, showcases Spyderco's signature Round Hole and ergonomic design. The knife features a contemporary style, with a European stainless handle overlaid in beautiful blonde olivewood. The blade is made of N690Co, a cobalt additive steel manufactured in Europe, and is available in a flat-ground PlainEdge configuration. Positioned in front of the Round Hole is an indentation that provides a secure grip for the index finger, enhancing control. The backside of the handle serves as an integral LinerLock, inspired by Chris Reeve's design, and features a detailed laser-cut Spyderco bug logo.
