The handle of the knife has two finger choils, which are separate areas that provide different gripping options. The first choil allows you to position your index finger closer to the sharp edge of the blade, giving you better control over the cutting surface. The second choil allows you to position your hand farther back on the knife, making it easier to cut with precision while pushing the blade away from you.
