Spyderco Saver Salt Yellow FRN C118SYL H-1 Steel Knife

The Spyderco Saver Salt is a compact rescue knife suitable for hands of all sizes. It is specifically designed for individuals such as seafarers, rescue workers, EMT's, and ranchers who may need to cut through flesh in emergency situations. The Saver Salt is made with H-1 steel, a unique type of steel that is hardened through precipitation and contains nitrogen instead of carbon, making it completely rust-proof. While it offers similar edge retention to other high carbon knife steels, its standout feature is its nitrogen-based composition rather than carbon-based. The blade, which is flat and saber-ground, delivers exceptional cutting performance in both fresh and saltwater environments. The handle is made of textured yellow fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) and features Volcano Grip for a secure hold. Additionally, it includes a lanyard hole and comes with a reversible tip-up pocket clip. Please note that the current version of the Spyderco Salt model is transitioning from H1 steel to H2.
