Spyderco Endura 4 Red Trainer Knife

The Endura Trainer is a type of knife designed for safe practice in Martial Blade Craft (MBC). Unlike sharp knives, it has a non-sharpened blade, allowing users to learn deployment and retrieval techniques, perform drills, and build confidence and muscle memory without the risk of cutting themselves or others. The Endura Trainer is the same weight and size as the regular model, but with some modifications for better balance. The unsharpened tip has been tapered and holes have been drilled through the blade to reduce unnecessary bulk. The handle features volcano grip texturing on both sides to prevent slipping during training. All Spyderco training models have red handles to indicate that they are non-sharpened. The Endura Trainer can also be used to safely teach non-knife users the basic movements of opening and closing a folding knife. It can be carried with the tip facing up.
