No matter what new knives i get, I always come back to this guy in my pocket. It is a perfect work knife, its tough, takes an edge very well, and the locking mechanism is so convent. I love the flat grind blade, I also use it as my kitchen knife. Get yourself one, you won&#039;t be disappointed.

I’ve owned spyderco knives for the last 10 years and have appreciated them all respectively but this ladies and gents is without a doubt my favorite one by far! Always preferred the larger EDCs that can take a beating seeing as how I’ve worked construction my whole life. Fell in love with it the second I took it out of the box and nothings changed to this day. With the blade just under 4” and the G10 handle it has overcome everything thrown its way including the countless drops on concrete and what not. Beautiful knife that I would recommend to anyone trying to add another notch to their proverbial knife belt! 

This knife is truly amazing. I have used it for meal prep, opening boxes, cleaning game, to cutting wire and everything in between.  It holds up to all of it without a single issue. It’s a larger knife that conceals very well. The edge holds great, the coating last even after being used and washed. After everything I have put it through it still doesn’t have any play in the action. I highly recommend this knife!

I like a larger blade but I dont like to sacrifice cutting ability. Unlike most large folders, this isn&#039;t a really thick tacticool pry par of a knife and so it still cuts like a dream. It&#039;s a great tool.

Ive carried the Manix 2 XL for about a year now and its by far my favorite for getting the job done. Ive put mine through the paces working in the military as well as carrying it everyday in a pair of jeans. The ball bearing locking system and the spydie hole are a perfect duo.

This is my large Spyderco folder and I absolutely love it. Also have the Chaparral Raffir Noble and the Caly 3.5 carbon fiber gent’s knives. The Manix XL is no gent’s knife but it a fantastic workman’s knife that is still very pocketable. The action is really smooth and the lockup is very solid. Very seductive blade shape.

Purchased this knife through BladeHq in August. I&#039;m a framer by trade and carry this knife on carpenter pants in the right leg pocket. This placement leaves it open to a lot of dirt and dust but, this beautiful knife still performed perfectly with minor upkeep. As any knife enthusiast knows cpm-s30v is an amazing steel and doesn&#039;t disappoint. I highly recommend this knife!
