Seriously how do you get a sharper knife out of the box? I carry this on my running shorts and forget its there nearly instantly, have to feel or look at the protruding clip because its so light and no footprint. Would consider this possibly the best all around EDC.

This was my first knife purchase in over five years.  Such an awesome knife.  Very light but great balance!  The blade is insanely sharp and I love the partially serrated blade.  The back-lock is crazy strong and the frn is very grippy.  Zero blade play.  The black blade, handle and clip look even better in hand.  100% reccomended.

Watched the Spyderco Employee Carry Vid and had to have a Native 5! Of the ones that are actually available to buy, I really like the Native 5 with the half serrated blade. After seeing the blade on Joyces Massod Ayood I was sold. And I want that AXE! 

Having never carried a Spyderco knife before, I entered the military service members drawing and was lucky enough to win an OEF Native. It has quickly become a favorite of mine. It disappears in the pocket and never fails to draw inquisitions. The knife has really grown on me and I would be lying if I said it hasn&#039;t become one of my favorites. 5 stars without a doubt. Thanks Spyderco for supporting the United States military and for providing such an awesome product. 

I am a huge Spyderco fan, this knife is part of that reason. It came to me surprisingly sharp, almost a year later I haven&#039;t had to sharpen it yet. I&#039;m a mechanic in the military and use this knife a lot. Its a super durable knife along with the lock on it. It has cut everything I put in its way, I haven&#039;t had any problems with it.
