I have benchmade, ZT, Three rivers, Gerber, Case ex... This is my go to knife to take to work. I&#039;m a fleet mechanic so I cut hose, cardboard, plastic, wire and this is the toughest knife for the size, money and weight I own. I&#039;ve only owned it for a couple of months but it&#039;s stayed sharp so the steel must be treated very well and doesn&#039;t rust. I&#039;ll be buying more of these now with different scales just because I like it so much

Got this for a work knife something for hard use and it did it all in a pretty compact package. Great knife for the cost and works really well. 

Man, I love this knife.  I&#039;m reviewing the normal PM3, not the lightweight version.  I bought mine in Sept 2020 from another online retailer.  I bought a camo version that had been rit dyed red.  It also came with a black, DLC blade.  Even though it&#039;s the original, standard PM3, and not the lightweight, it&#039;s plenty lightweight for me.  I strongly prefer it to my original Benchmade Bugout.  It just has a bit more heft, feels more solid, and looks more distinct.  At first, I was not taken with the look of Spyderco blades or the Spydie hole, but the thought that went into shaping the G-10 handle really won me over.  I can flick the blade open with thumb, index fingertip, or middle fingertip.  The compression lock is just safer than the back lock on my Endura 4.  As a guy who just got into knives and bought his first 20 over the past 2-3 months, I just want to say that I strongly recommend the PM3.  What&#039;s it missing or lacking?  Well, if you want something bigger or meatier for heavier tasks, you can step up to it&#039;s big brother, the Paramilitary 2.  That&#039;s about the only thing that I can think of - some tasks simply might require a bigger blade with a larger handle.  The PM3 gets my vote for perfect EDC.

This knife is great quality and at a pretty reasonable price. This is among the best edc knives of all time. Only complaints I have is; it doesn&#039;t come with a deep carry pocket clip and once in a while the compression lock is hard to push.

This is the perfect size EDC pocket knife with a razor sharp edge.  The action is super smooth and hard to stop flipping open and closed.  I would recommend a Para 3 to anyone.  Spyderco definitely caters to everyone with plenty of options to choose from.

I received this knife in the mail a few days ago. I started fidgeting with it and I truly love it. Smooth Action right of the box. Razor sharp blade. Perfect EDC Size. I do love the Digi Camo G10 scales and wish that Spyderco would get rid of the useless lanyard holes on all of its folder and flipper knives since 95% of knife collectors and users whom I know do not even use it. It would&#039;ve been also nice to get a discount but this knife is definitely worth it every penny. I recommend this knife to anyone especially for EDC purposes. All the features of the Para 2 in a smaller package, the compression lock is one of the best designs from Spyderco, the para 3 opens even smoother than my para2. The CPM-S30V holds a razor sharp edge, The G-10 scales have a nice feel, and the digital camo really sets this knife off. The para 3 is my new favorite EDC

Inspected very closely after receipt. The blade grind, assembly, and finish on this knife is flawless. If you have a PM2 and find it a little too big for pocket carry, then this is the knife for you. Order it, you won&#039;t be sorry. I also recommend adding a Lynch Para 3 Ti pocketclip.

This is my favorite pocket knife. The compression lock is perfect for fast deployment and the edge is just great. 

I carry a Para 3 most days. It’s light weight and dose not take up much pocket space. It came razor sharp right out of the box. The size of the Para 3 is also not to intimidating to most. I also recommend picking up a Lynch deep carry clip as well for it as it sits a little high in the pocket normally. 

Use daily at work to open boxes. Found out the hard way not to let my boss borrow it. Chipped the blade on staple. Took a little work to take chip out, but it is as sharp as ever now. The knife just wants to cut!
