The Spyderco Navaja folding knife is Ed Schempp's modernized interpretation of the knife design that was first seen in 15th century Spain among Gypsies and Gitanos. The Navaja folding knife was used for work, utility and protection. The Ed Schempp designed Navaja knife has a modified clip-point S30V steel blade with a concave spine swedge. The handle has carbon fiber scales with stainless steel bolsters and a Walker LinerLock with full length skeletonized liners. Unique to the Navaja is the Carraca, which is a ratcheting sound produced when opening or closing the blade, a detail that has been included in this modern-day knife. The four-way reversible pocket clip makes this a knife you can carry everyday.
