Same as previous review, I bought this knife directly from Smith and Sons as pre-order given their store is just an hour from house.  I don&#039;t normally buy traditional style knives but I&#039;m a knife guy and figured I needed a representation of the traditional lock-back.  Exceptionally well done, this knife hits all the right buttons, materials along with craftsmanship/workmanship, both good to very good.  Kudos, to a traditional done right.  Buy it, you will not regret or resale, this one is a true keeper. 

I bought this knife as a pre-order from Smith and Sons themselves. The simplest way I can put it is that this is a perfect knife for any normal edc task you can find. The edge is razor sharp. The lock is perfectly tight, and the release is smooth and doesn&#039;t hang up. The handle is thin, yet the size lets it fill your hand. It&#039;s a very light weight knife. The micarta scales are smooth, but have plenty of grip. The maroon is beautiful on it. The sheath is also a work of art. The stitching is perfect. The leather broke in easily, and it sits well on a belt. For a traditional pocket knife, I find this to be perfect. The only thing I wish was different, would be that I would like a four inch blade, but oh well it&#039;s close enough and it doesn&#039;t really need it to be a wonderful knife.
