The dark angel fires hard and has a shaving sharp, beautifully finished dagger blade.  One thing I hadn&#039;t expected was how light and simple this knife is.  As an LEO I can tuck this blade just about anywhere in my kit - even in my boot.  Great investment.  

I got the black satin version of this knife and I am sorely disappointed.  Out of the box the action in extending the blade was &quot;crunchy,&quot; like the internals were filled with sand, and half the time the blade would not even extend all the way into the locked position.  I started lubricating it with gun oil and it became a lot smoother, but even now if I lightly press on the button nine times out of ten the blade will fully extend but not lock (and the button will not fully reset), so if you press it against anything it will retract back into the handle.  The quality on this thing is more like a $2 switchblade comb rather than a $250 knife.
