Almost unbelievable that you can get this knife for around 50 bucks.  I have many Ontario&#039;s with 1095 steel and they are good quality----up there with my Kabars.  Made in USA.  

I actually love this knife, but I received one with a horrible edge. It was incredibly steep (obtuse), dull, rough, and rusty. OKC probably would have fixed this for me (or a great sharpening service), but I took to hogging off the steel on my own, by hand. The point is, it&#039;s a fixable issue, but even at sub-$50, this is not how a knife should leave a factory. This aside, the weight is acceptable, reach is good, strength is [projected to be] good, and it looks cool! The sheath is what you might expect: mediocre. It does come with MOLLE on the back, though. If you&#039;re in the market for a fixed blade, I don&#039;t see why you wouldn&#039;t be happy with this. Just expect all-around utility, and not glorious performance in any one category (except FIGHTIN&#039;).

A non Chinese 1095 combat blade under 50 bucks? Yep. I&#039;ll ding it a star because the blade came a little dull so I have to stone and strop it. Also the missing sharpened swedge. FU CA and MA. Otherwise a steal and a good U.S. made beater if you don&#039;t want to damage your Kabars or Cases.
