I have plenty  of Civivis and Kizers.  I know they do a good job on the heat treat for 154cm and 14C29N my Clairvoyant is the 154CM yes I could have gotten it in S35VN but 154CM is a lot easier to sharpen and strap right back to razor sharp so you’ll have to do less sharpening. I understand S35VN is not hard to sharpen, but 154CM is way easier. This knife is comfortable. Got a great belly on the blade for food prep for any kind of cutting really, blade, HQ has superior, fast shipping. I love this knife with the brass bolsters, it’s a great knife in for $109. You can’t go wrong. 

This really is a awesome knife. It feels great in the hand and has a very smooth action. The quality control on it is really perfect. The one thing I would not is that this is Kizer’s more smooth micarta rather than there more textured almost fuzzy if you will micarta. It’s still very nice, just a different style. 

Purchased this knife and out of the box was very impressed by the quality of the manufacturing.  The action was very smooth and it felt great in the hand. Unfortunately, the lock mechanism was faulty, with slight pressure on the back of the blade it would unlock and close without the lock button being pressed. Thankfully Blade HQ gave me a full refund and paid for the return shipping. Great customer service.
