As with many knives available in the market, one can often feel the quality of a given knife the moment you handle it.  This knife is such an example.  While it is certainly on the heavier side due to the brass scales, there is no doubt of the quality craftsmanship that has gone into it.  The contoured scales are greatly appreciated.  While I wouldn’t recommend it for summer shorts due to its weight, it would make a great work knife or desk/utility/workshop/toolbox partner.  The brass scales will undoubtedly patina well and the 3V blade is ideal for tougher tasks.  I’ve been impressed enough to buy two of these knives.  Highly recommend to those who like husky folders.  Thanks go out to Kizer and Blade HQ for offering this gem.

Nice, big, heavy brass knife. Tough 3V blade with a very wide blade. This knife feels a lot larger in hand and pocket but it is great. Brass will build up a very nice patina with continuous use. Would recommend to anyone that likes the Sheepdog and likes heavier, robust knives. 

I wanted strong blade, good edge retention, razor sharp, a significant weight in the hand, and a good fidget. This knife delivered all that better than expected. It&#039;s done some serious work, and the edge hasn&#039;t flinched. It&#039;s cut line, tape, cardboard, lumber, even took a glance of the staple and showed 0 edge damage. Very well done as alway. Matches the rest of my black and gold edc very well.
