The first thing you will notice is the price vs. materials used. N690 steel with full stainless liners and G10 handle scales for less than 50 bucks is an excellent value. If you are someone who appreciates a favorable blade-to-handle ratio, you should not overlook this knife. If you are balking at a non-ball bearing pivot, I would encourage you to get past that in regards to this knife. The PB washers make this knife very smooth with a hydraulic feeling action that I have only experienced on higher-end knives. After polishing the washers, it is not only very smooth to open, but it has a nice steady drop on the close. The cutting geometry offers a great balance of durability and slicing capability and makes it a joy to use. The neutral handle shape makes it comfortable for all hand-sized, although extra-large hands might feel crowded. In closing, this knife has broken in beautifully, and I find myself reaching for it more often than lots of knives that cost 2-5x as much. Azo has gained popularity for a very good reason, and he designs an excellent knife. Other Azo models like the Begleiter and the Domin have overshadowed this knife a bit, but I actually find this design to be as strong or stronger than those other knives. If you are looking for a dependable mid-sized folder for EDC, I strongly urge you to consider the Yukon for purchase. I couldn&#039;t be more pleased with it. P.S. for whatever reason, this knife consistently takes the sharpest edge of all of my folders, and I have a bunch.
