It is unfortunate that Kizer is discontinuing this knife. Out of the box it is the smoothest opening and closing folder that I have ever bought. There is a fair bit of very smooth resistance [ not a bad thing] as the blade opens, so it doesn&#039;t just fall open, but I imagine that will loosen up a bit with use   The handle is very comfortable in the hand and the ergonomics and blade shape are excellent. The moderately deep carry clip is unobtrusive in your hand when you are using the knife.To top it off it was shaving sharp right out of the box.
