I’ve owned a few of OTF’s but Kershaw did it with this one, LOVE the clean look the Raw Aluminum gives off. I would recommend getting this for your EDC.

I have been carrying a OTF for many years now, mainly because of the one handed operation is just too convenient when working in tight situations. A black spear point AKC F-16 has been in my pocket for several years and it shows. The black finish has all but worn off and it is an ugly sight. I have several OTFs in my collection, but never wanted to use any of them as my EDC because they were just too pretty. When I purchased my first Livewire I was instantly in love with it, but I didn’t want to scratch it up like I knew would happen. Enter the &quot;Raw&quot; version and I had to have it. No more finish wear and the smoothness that I love in my other Livewire. As far as the pocket clip, it was a bit awkward at first but I became used to it and now can clip it unconsciously. The Magnacut blade steel is the best combination of edge retention and toughness while remaining fairly easy to maintain. The best EDC OTF ever!!!

The knife is really great, it’s easy to deploy although it is a bit further down the actual knife but none the less I think that this is one of the best otfs on the market.

This is one of my favorites. I have a few of the other variations (and one of the first 50 ever made) and it is a great value. Minimal blade play, great lockup and so easy to work on (that it&#039;s ridiculous). In a world of inflation and companies there is no better value out there (for an American-made OTF). Not too mention that BladeHQ&#039;s customer service is as good as Kershaw&#039;s! Could you ask for more?

I saw this on the site and had to have right away! Just prior to ordering I was wishing Kershaw would put this in raw form. I’ve been holding back on pushing the button to buy it! I heard so much about this knife being an owner of Microtechs and other otf makers this hands down is the best. I was finally able to handle one at my local gun show and was extremely impressed. I’m still getting used to the pocket clip but it works and is inconspicuous which is a plus in my opinion. Now I read the review above before I wrote mine. This is raw aluminum and has very little grip. Don’t expect to buy this if your use is hard use or in the rain. It’s perfect for me in my work environment of light duty. There are very few otf’s that have a good grip. With that being said I’m loving mine. If Blade  HQ passes feedback to kershaw I would say make these bigger! I know they can do it since they had limited numbers at recent blade shows. I like larger knives and this would be awesome if it was at least a 4” blade, I would be all over it. Blade fires extremely fast and easy! I’ve been playing with it since I got it today.

My first OTF, had to have the bling version so I got the raw and love this thing.  Crazy sharp, no real play in the switch at all.  Very very little side to side wobble in the blade, but I’m not sure if that’s common to OTFs or not.  Shipping from BladeHQ was so quick I didn’t even have time to get impatient, great job guys.  Just wish Kershaw did some laser stippling or something on the side panels, but I’m not complaining.

I like this knife, it fires fast, looks beautiful, clips to the pocket well and its priced right but something I wasn’t expecting so much was how slippery it is. Just the oils on your hand make it slippery and if your hands are wet at all it is harder to deploy and handle. Other than that I&#039;ve been enjoying it!
