Probably one of the best knives I&#039;ve owned. I got it because I wanted a feep carry knife with no flipper tab, but also one that is slim and stays out of the way in the pocket. I also required a blade around 3.3 inches, which is my sweet spot for blades. The knife is a little smaller than you would expect, and the nail-nick thing takes a little getting used to. I practiced with it to find the best way of opening. For me, it&#039;s flicking the opposite side with my index finger, which I usually do with my Spyderco Manix 2 and Griptilian Sheepsfoot. You can do thumb deployment, but it takes a little work. My thumb is a bit meaty, so it doesm&#039;t work well for me. After getting that all sorted out, the knife started working in real well. It&#039;s on bearings, so action is smooth and easy to work with. No blade play on my model. The detent starts out a little stiff but works in just fine. The blade does a wonderful drop-shut after getting the deployment worked in. I have not disassembled this knife, and I don&#039;t have any reason to do so. Main thing to take away is that this is a slim, lightweight knife that is perfect fpr EDC or just to have for the beautiful design. Deployment takes some getting used to, but isn&#039;t all that different from a Spydie-flick. It&#039;s a fantastic value and one of my favorites

First, I want to say that this a great blade.  Fits well in the hand, well built and a perfect size.  It is not assisted opening and not a flipper which I didn&#039;t think would be a problem.  If there is a problem it is with the opening &#039;bar&#039; at the top of the blade spine.  Unlike a thumb stud, it will take a little bit of practice to get just the right technique down for me to feel comfortable opening it.  It can be done but there is not a lot of real estate on the blade ledge for my thumb to make a good purchase and push it open.  Because it is not assisted, it take all the more of a push to do it.  I just need to find that sweet spot for my thumb....I know I&#039;ll find it.  Overall though, a great and elegant knife.  

It looks cool for the price point. I would definitely not make this my everyday carry though because the closing feels...off. I like the reverse open on this knife, but it is harsh on the ol fingernail (at least for me). Overall, it is a good knife to have on your desk. 

Almost a good frame lock knife. Though it is on bearings, it is not anything near a drop shut action. The groove in the blade is great for the reverse flick, but the edges of the groove are way sharper than they should be. That I could tolerate at this price range. What I could not tolerate was how late the detent ball was before it engaged with the blade. I really like the design of the knife and I wanted to love it, but the late detent ball ruined it for me and I returned it to BHQ  By the way, I received outstanding customer support from BHQ. Five stars for BHQ
