Kershaw Inception Liner Lock Knife Black G-10 (3.25&quot; SW) 2031

I bought this knife for my son on a daily deal just before Christmas. Once I had it in hand I wanted to keep it for myself, and put it into my EDC rotation with my Benchmade and Spyderco, etc. Clearly it is not in the same category as those brands and their super steels, but I would happily put it against anything else in the price range. The action is smooth, the D2 steel sharpened nicely, and easily puts bald spots on my arm. I would not be embarrassed to have this in my pocket and show it to any of my enthusiastic friends.

This is a slim elegant EDC. Excellent quality for the dollar. On the small side but very comfortable in the hand. Smooth action. No complaints.

I got this knife today with another knife of a different brand. I love the other knife because it opens easily with a flip while this knife has almost bloodied my finger while trying to open it. This knife is very nice with a sharp nicely shaped blade. It also has a good handle shape with black slightly textured scales. But the blade locks open very tenaciously and I can&#039;t get it open with just the flipper. I have to use the flipper and pull the blade open with my fingers on the other hand. After taking it apart I noticed that the liner lock has a high point on it that falls into a hole on the blade about 1/32&quot;. I&#039;m  going to have to grind the pin down so it doesn&#039;t hold the blade close so firmly. I cannot recommend this knife due to this problem.
