Its modified drop point blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a two-tone stonewashed/satin finish, and features a flipper opener paired with SpeedSafe assisted action for easy one-handed deployment. A durable steel frame lock handle ensures secure blade lockup and a comfortable grip during use. The Eris is fitted with a reversible pocket clip for right or left side pocket carry. Since I bought this knife, I&#039;ve rarely carried anything else. The blade size and shape are perfect for everyday tasks. The high grind makes it good for slicing. The handle has a fairly small thickness, and the clip is nicely shaped - it sits in the pocket quite unobtrusively. However, the handle is shaped to still be comfortable in the hand. The flipper and spring-assist function as they should every time, though less quickly than my Kershaw Ferrite (I attribute this partially to blade weight and geometry). Lockup is solid when open, and the blade is centered around 45/55 when closed.

I love this knife so much. I take it everywhere with me. The blade is perfect and the stonewash makes this knife even better!

This knife was supposed to be an extra knife that I liked due to the slim profile and the great blade shape that has a makeshift jimping that I can crawl all the way up on when using — versatile blade, that made its way to my pocket more than I would like to admit when I want to carry “shinier” and more we’ll regarded knives but this one takes the real estate in my pocket many days that I think I might beat my knife up and this hasn’t let me down, or had any blade play, and literally shoots out with a loud metallic and authoritative clank. This is faster and more responsive than many other speedsafes that I have. Blasts out harder than the cryo 2 and has the same speed as the cryo 1 with the smaller blade an crazy loud action. This knife fires out and feels perfect in hand given the nature of the curves with no hotspots or “being told where to hold the knife.” If you’re thinking about adding an inexpensive addition to your collection or edc, this guy will show up quietly and take your attention by storm as this blade could be priced $20 higher and I’d still be into it and replace it if I lost it. Great knife coming from a great company, and did not disappoint. For the price you can buy one for your wife or your buddy so you can both be the judge!  (Picture makes the time look a lot lighter -/ this is the color of raw titanium and it matches all titanium edc very nicely!!) 

Good quality, nice heft but kind of a toned down knockout. Not one of Kershaw&#039;s best but certainly worth the price.
