After carrying several different fixed blades to carry alongside my pocket knife trying to find what worked, a review for this knife randomly popped into my YouTube recommended feed. After watching it i picked this knife up. And let me say this will be the last fixed blade, other than collector pieces, I&#039;ll EVER need. DISCLAIMER: you will NEED to buy a custom kydex sheath (or make one if you have the skill) for this knife. The sheath it comes with isn&#039;t the best for carry. It works, but there are better sheaths. But other than that one gripe, this knife is PERFECT for me. Perfect handle length, perfect blade length, proven blade steel, and, with an aforementioned sheath, perfect carry options. This knife is a 5 star knife in my eyes. My EDC setup as far as knives go is a Spyderco Para 3 (another perfect knife imho) and this knife with a kydex sheath. And I haven&#039;t looked at other knives since. Nor have i wanted to. I&#039;ve even bought two more for different applications. For those of you looking into EDC fixed blades, GET THIS KNIFE. I only happened upon it thanks to random YouTube algorithm leading me to a video. And I haven&#039;t looked back since. I wish I had found this sooner. This knife is severely underrated.

I use it as a edc and consider it a heavy duty bk14. Do wish it came with a leather sheath or even a kydex (I will make one) but the sheath that it comes with is good for a nylon sheath and is holding up fine. Very good factory edge with a symmetrical ground edge, nice heft and balanced well. A bit expensive in my opinion but hey, it is American made blade.
