It is packaged in a box with a hanging tab.

I thought this was a bad design at first as the pocket clip has no where near enough retention to stay in your pocket when you pull on the knife. After breaking it in a bit I learned that you can use the curves on the sheath of the knife to hook onto your pocket like an emerson wave, leaving the sheath in your pocket. Takes some practice like any wave but very smooth when broken in.
