I’ve wanted a Kabar for a long time and finally received one as a Christmas present. I served in the navy so the Navy sheath and the USN stamp is a great touch. I look forward to using it often. 

Kabars are my favorite fixed blade knife company so this is a biased review. But this knife is one of the best fighting/utility/Bushcraft blades you can buy and for a fraction of the price that others such as esee charge. The stacked leather handle is the way to go I own every kabar blade except for some of the Becker series and this is still my favorite to hold. When a design doesn&#039;t change for almost 80 years you know it&#039;s gotta be working. Never served so the branch doesn&#039;t matter to me but if you are in the Navy or have family that has served then buy this as fast as you can!!!
