This is the first of many kabars that I have acquired.  The rubber handle is a lot better than the USMC knife, and the serrations on the blade are very sharp.  Believe it or not, I have batoned with this knife to spit wood and it worked great.  It holds an edge very good and I have stabbed steel barrels without damaging the tip.
