Gerber Swagger Frame Lock Knife (3.25&quot; Black Serr) 

It&#039;s not super sharp out of the box, but it will do most daily tasks. I was looking for a knife for my bike bag. Inexpensive and can do most tasks it needs on a bike trail. Not too smooth but for $13 it&#039;s a pretty good value for me as it will probably be used to poke twigs out of a bike chain soon enough. I&#039;m happy enough for the money.

I like the Gerber brand, own many fixed blades, and the pack axe. This folding knife low budget, does not open easy, no one hand operation. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Disappointed with the purchase

Rough opening, and if you try to loosen the screw, the blade rubs on the scales. I also had to use a dremel to make the gap to access the lock bigger as it was hard to grip. Plus, it would regularly get stuck in the open position until I prayed it open with a screwdriver. Eventually grinding where the blade and lock meet helped it but it’s still finnicky. Even as a beater knife there are better options.

I have several Grerber products and this is by far my lest favorite.   Even with the great sale price by blade HQ, the product is just not that good.  Very difficult to open with one hand and even more difficult to close.    Will find it a new home.  Nuff said.
