The hollow grind is even thinner than on a cold steel tuff lite, and extends almost to the spine. The pocket clip does not give me any trouble. The pivot screw was working itself loose real bad in the beginning but that stopped after just taking the action apart and adding oil to all the spaces inside, since then I have opened/closed the thing at least a couple thousand times with no loosening at all (been checking with a screwdriver). Yes, 440c isn&#039;t one of those trendy modern meme steels but so what, the blade takes a very highly polished edge and it doesn&#039;t wear off easily with my EDC cutting. Clearly the heat treatment was done right. I honestly couldn&#039;t find a bad thing to say about this knife.

Just received both my black fox kits today and straight out of the box, i like &#039;em! Didnt have high expectations but theres enough blade and grip to get most edc jobs done, it would be a great 5th pocket knife or an unobtrusive edc carry, sharp outta the box, good construction, 440c steel (expected for the price point), overall happy and considering getting 2 more just in case i lose one.
