The Entrek USA COMPANION is a highly reliable knife with a sleek 4-inch long drop point blade that is 3/16 inch thick. The blade has a false edge that can be sharpened if desired. It is made of 440C Stainless Steel with a plain bead blast finish. The blades undergo heat treatment, sub-zero stabilization, and double drawing to achieve a hardness of 57-58 RC. This results in a perfect balance of toughness, edge retention, and resistance to corrosion, even surpassing more expensive steels. The blade also features jimping for enhanced grip. The handle is crafted from black canvas micarta, which not only looks great but also provides excellent grip.
