CRKT Pilar Frame Lock Knife Natural G-10 BHQ Exclusive (2.4&quot; Black SW D2)

Nice looking knife with decent materials, but needed to be taken down and readjusted.  I guess for a knife at this price CRKT just slaps them together and lets the customer hassle with getting them in working condition.  I&#039;ve come to expect that from CRKT, and yet Civivi can produce similarly priced knives with comparable (or better) materials that are almost always perfect.  After some fiddling, it now feels solid, but may take a long time before the action is what I&#039;d consider satisfactory.

Just got mine in the mail. So far seems like an ok knife. Been wanting to check out CRKT for a minute. The scale on this is very nice probably the main reason I got it. The grip is comfortable. Edge is not the greatest but not horrible. It&#039;s a steep biting edge not shaving sharp but does pass the paper test. Steel is decent which is another reason I went with this upgrade D2 steel. The worst thing is the action on it. It&#039;s just BAD no way I could one hand this open and I can one hand the kershuffle. Gonna fidget with the action screws see if I can loosen it up some cause of the box it&#039;s too tight. Like opening an old buck knife it&#039;s so stiff. It&#039;s only $50 so not stressing it too much but I think I&#039;d get something better from Kershaw. Still little disappointed in it.
