The handle is assembled using superior offset Torx fasteners. For professional use, we have added a seat belt cutter to the Carson Flipper, as well as a tungsten carbide window breaker at the butt. With a quick whack from the butt of the knife, the tungsten carbide window breaker can shatter automobile side windows. All components of the knife receive a durable tactical black coating. The Flipper allows for fast one-hand opening when pressed, and also acts as a blade guard when the knife is open. The blades are made from premium AUS 8 high-carbon stainless steel, known for its quality and durability. The blades feature Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point Serrated edges, making it easy to cut through rope, cord, canvas, and vegetation. All three models are equipped with our automated liner safety, which takes the locking liner safety to the next level. The automated liner safety sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame, providing an additional layer of safety to prevent the locking liner from disengaging during use. To close the knife, simply pull the red buttoned safety lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position.
