The CJRB Fugly is a unique EDC knife. It's even a bit...unconventional. Designer Jake Diaz took a bold approach when he put in a narrower pivot, especially when compared to the blade, handle, and the flat finger choil with its pointed beak. The blade stripes give the knife a quirky, scar-like appearance, like a battle wound that's proudly shown off. Additionally, the thumb stud shines forth like a star at night, both functionally, physically, and oddly. In that, they're purposefully misaligned with the jimping! But don't let that convince you it's not a good-working flipper knife. It may be a bit "fugly," but even more so, it's sturdy, sharp, and easy to operate. Somehow through all of this, the Fugly feels ironically familiar. Misshapen and scarred but still with an edge—a bit like each of us.
