Bought this as a beater knife and was pleasantly surprised.  Factory edge is good, centering is good, D2 at $36 is good, action was great.  The cheapest feeling part was the scales, with the terrible peel off textured G10 and a frankly nasty blue color.  I sanded them down to 600 grit and applied some purple RIT synthetic dye, cleaned and lubed, and now it looks and feels great.  For $36 this knife is hard to beat.
