The color on this one really pops it’s much darker and richer royal purple than in the picture “google search royal purple under images and the first color that comes up is almost spot on”. One time the photo honesty didn’t do it, Justice. Plus this thing slices like u wouldn’t believe and now with the upgraded steel it holds that edge even longer. At the price I paid on sale this knife is one of the best pickups I’ve had in awhile. I feel like I kinda stole some money from hq with this one. Thanks for an amazing knife!!! ordered Friday and pulled it out the mailbox after work today Monday, outstanding!

I’ve been keeping an eye on the Qubit since it came out, and once BladeHQ got this one in S35VN I had to pull the trigger. I loved playing with the action on my Elementum 2, but once open the flipper tab got in the way of my grip on the knife. This one gets rid of that problem and it still deploys very well with the thumb studs, whether you use thumb flick or middle finger flick. My button stick a bit when you go to release the blade, but I’m hoping that will clear up as it breaks in. What I love most about this knife is the blade and the overall ergonomics. It has the same leaf blade shape used on all the best Spydercos (Manix 2, Sage 5, Native 5, Shaman). The blade shape combined with the full flat grind makes this a very slicey knife, and the S35VN means it should hold an edge well. (I was always disappointed with how often I had to touch up the edge on the Elementum in Nitro V). In the hand, the Qubit feels very much like my favorite Spyderco knives. Just look at a picture of the Native 5 and you’ll see how close they truly are. For this price, getting the blade shape, S35VN steel, ergonomics, and button lock fun that you do, makes this an absolute must purchase. I highly recommend the BladeHQ exclusive Civivi Qubit.

Absolutely awesome knife. My specimen has perfect fit and finish. No blade play, centered, great action...the works. The S35VN on this should perform exceptionally. Oh, and the royal purple really pops as well. Worth every penny.

I was unsure if I wanted to buy the qubit, but the blade hq exclusive made me pull the trigger. It came great out of the box. Not button stick to break in, came razor sharp as all civivis do. Great size. When deploying, it is so smooth it almost feels assisted. To top it all off, looks better in person than it does in pictures. 

very happy and surprised how well made this civivi is made ! comes with all the goodies , cloth , zippered nylon knife case , sticker , etc , but the real good stuff is 1. the finish of the knife , so well done and vibrant. 2 . the blade is wonderful and well done , and a real biggy  is the sharpness , i have a buck pioneer fixed blade that is the sharpest knife i own ( besides the 2 trm atoms i own ) and wow is this thing sharp !! 3 . the button lock and action is fantastic and smooth , and all for well under 100$ with s35vn steel ! so yeah very pleased with my purchase. if your on the fence about this then pull the trigger , its almost as light as a bugout and put together very well . its fantastic and made me very happy to add to my collection . i also bought the 39$ purple civivi and where it&#039;s not as good , it&#039;s also an amazing knife ! but yes get it if you can .

I have purchased 1 with the S35VN blade and 2 of the others. The button locks on all of them, are far less than I would expect with a knife in their price range. They all stick. Either the part of the lock bar that fits in the handle isn&#039;t round or the hole isn&#039;t, or it isn&#039;t cut large enough. I&#039;m guessing something is out of round as it does work when enough pressure is supplied. I have a Kizer Assassin and 2 CJRB Pyrites with button locks. They all work very smoothly. Of the 3, the Assassin is the smoothest. In the grand scheme of things, the Qubit is very reasonably priced, with a great blade shape, great scales, and nice colors. The button locks don&#039;t diminish those features, however, they do diminish my interest in using them and if someone asked me to recommend a reasonably priced button lock, it would not be the Qubit.

I love everything about the knife but the button stick is so extreme I have to use both thumbs to push the button in and close the knife.ill give a few days to see if it breaks in if not I&#039;ll return it.
