The price of this item should pretty much tell you the quality of the item you will receive... The ball chain or very thin and cheap with what looks like a metallic coating that will eventually flake off all over your neck but only time will tell. Calling this a neck knife is a bit of a stretch but I knew that before I ordered it. This is more of a compact version of a Exacto/Hobby knife that you can wear around your neck. I say compact and not handy only because of the hardware used to secure the knife to the frame which is a small Torx driver as opposed to a something more convenient like a flat head screwdriver... As a craftsman that uses these types of knives a lot I can tell you that Torx are not as convenient for me as a screwdriver... At least they gave me two stickers in the box compared to BladeHQ giving only one sticker even though I spent like 200 bucks...
