The Sebenza knife, developed by Chris Reeve in 1987, has undergone some minor changes to its profile over the years. It started with the entirely handmade version, followed by the Original profile in 1990, the Regular in 1996, and the Classic in 2000. In 2008, to commemorate the 21st year of the Sebenza, Chris Reeve introduced the Sebenza 21, an updated version of the classic design that is now easier to carry in a pocket or pouch.
The Sebenza knife from Chris Reeve is widely regarded as the standard by which other folding knives are measured. People often describe its action as being as secure as a bank vault. Once you have the chance to handle this knife, you'll understand why. Despite its solid construction, the action is smooth and easy to use. The titanium integral frame lock ensures that the knife feels just like a fixed blade when it's open. Not only is it functional, but the Sebenza line also exudes both comfort and elegance, making it a must-have for any knife enthusiast.
This particular Small Sebenza features a stainless steel Devin Thomas "Spirograph" Damascus blade with a blue anodized titanium thumb stud. Please note that the actual Damascus blade may vary slightly from the one pictured.
