The Case Copperlock is based on the Copperhead pattern, a utilitarian everyday carry knife named after the snake, as the head shape of the snake is similar to the shape of the knife's bolster. The original Copperhead knife was outfitted with a slip joint action, but the Copperlock has a strong lockback (hence the name), promising to keep your fingers safe from unintentional blade closure. Case knives are a part of American history, and no Case knife collection is complete without a Copperlock!
