I received this knife as a gift from my girlfriend, who purchased the knife through BladeHQ. I could not be happier with the fit and finish of the Hobo by Case. I&#039;m impressed by how precisely each individual utensil fits together with one another and how thick the stock is for all 3 tools. It is a hefty unit so I would not want to carry it on my belt or in my pocket on a trip, but I think it will be perfect to carry in my backpack while camping. I think the expensive price tag is warranted by the quality and craftsmanship Case has put into this knife.

I had a similar hobo knife over 50 years ago. My father accidentally dropped it in Lake Huron - never to be seen again. The craftsmanship on this new Hobo is excellent, better than I remembered. You can easily disassemble and reassemble the knife. I particularly like the fact that it breaks down into three separate pieces so you don&#039;t have to flip it around to use different utensils while eating. The Hobo is not small nor light so it is not an ideal EDC. However, I am looking forward to using it in the summers for day trips and  picnics on islands in the Adirondacks.

Solid craftsmanship as you&#039;d expect from Case. Dismantles and reassembles easily. Really deserves five stars, but I knocked one off because it is far too heavy for expedition/camping use. Actual hobos would love this knife, though.
