On the back of the blade, you'll find the stamp "Burr Oak Nevling" as a mark of authenticity. This knife comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, dated 9/23/14, ensuring its genuine craftsmanship. Mark Nevling, the talented craftsman behind Burr Oak Knives, discovered his passion for knife-making in 1987 when he created his very first knife. Since then, he has dedicated himself to perfecting his skills and is now a full-time knife maker. His expertise is evident in the exceptional knives he produces. In addition to his knife-making skills, Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois. This firsthand experience gives him valuable insight into the specific needs of professionals in these fields.
