Burr Oak Knives Damascus Micarta Flipper Knife

We acquired this extraordinary folding knife from Mark Nevling (Burr Oak Knives) at the 2015 BLADE Show in Atlanta. It features a clip point blade made of chainsaw chain Damascus 1084 steel, which can be easily opened with the flipper opener. The handle is made of titanium liner lock and adorned with 5-layer Damascus bolsters, natural canvas Micarta scales, and a bronzed titanium pocket clip. The liners and steel backspacer are intricately fileworked. This knife comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, dated 6/5/15. Mark Nevling, the talented craftsman behind Burr Oak Knives, discovered his passion for knife-making in 1987 when he crafted his very first knife. Since then, he has dedicated himself to perfecting his skills and is now a full-time knife maker renowned for his exceptional creations. It's worth noting that Mark Nevling is not only a skilled artisan but also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois, which gives him valuable insight into the specific needs of these professionals.
