Buck Knives 112 Ranger Folding Knife - Made in the USA

The story of the knife begins with the iconic 110 Folding Hunter. This knife was a common sight on the belts of many sailors in the Navy. However, an incident occurred when a couple of soldiers got into a fight and the 110 Folding Hunter was involved. As a result, the captain decided to implement a rule stating that knives carried by the sailors should not have blades exceeding a certain length. Since the 110 Folding Hunter was too long according to the new rule, Buck Knives took the initiative to address this issue. They came up with a solution by creating a smaller version of the 110, known as the Ranger. This new knife retained the essence of the original but had a more compact size.
