Benchmade Freek 560-03 AXIS Lock Folding Knife Carbon Fiber Black (3.6&quot; Satin)

Fits my medium size hand perfectly.  The jimping on the liner and rear of the blade make for a very solid feel.  Came to me with the blade a little too tight but super sharp.  Backed off the pivot screw and front liner screws slightly along with a drop of KPL on the washers and it’s perfect now….flicks open and the blade drops easily as it should.  The red spacers and thumb studs give it some visual appeal but the stars of the show are the carbon fiber scales and S90V blade.  Yea it’s pricey but I’m a buy once and cry once kind of guy.  I’ve got more than a dozen BM’s and this is one of my favorites.

My first BM. I guess I could complain about the cost but I thought I should get some first hand experience with the brand before I do any squawking. After a few days of carry and flippin the knife around, I found it to be very pleasant to yield and made of an excellent quality. Ordered a lynchnw clip in black carbon to make this blade my own. No regrets, great knife!

I wrote a lengthy honest review. The algorithm would not allow me to post it. There are much much better choices QC has gone down hill. I’ve gotten sharper knives outta the box at the county fair ring toss.
