What a cool hardcore knife. Glad I grabbed one before they were all gone. Drop shut and zero blade play right out of the box. The G10 is so dense it feels like Aluminium not plastic. All machined edges on every surface from the blade to the edges of the scales are perfectly smoothed over. That&#039;s what separates Benchmade from what Cold Steel produces.

I have pretty small hands so I usually carry a benchmade mini barrage, but when I got this thing I found it was well balanced.  It&#039;s built like a tank but yet it&#039;s still feels fine in my pocket.  I saw a review that said the pocket clip was terrible because it had no tension, but this isn&#039;t the case, the pocket clip is fine.  The only thing I will say is that my locking mechanism was awfully stiff at first, but after opening and closing the knife for a few minutes it was absolutely fine.  (after this point my review is no longer informative)Thanks to Blade HQ and USPS for the very fast shipping!  I bought this for 3 reasons: 1: I lost my Mini Barrage, 2: I wanted a &quot;pocket KA-BAR,&quot; and 3: it&#039;s been discontinued and it&#039;s a steal of a deal ($12.99 as of now). I would definitely suggest buying it while you still can.

This is my second Adamas purchase that I’ve made. I’m 6’4” and have large hands. Most knives feel like kids knives in my hands. I absolutely love this knife. Large blade, handle made from nice G10 MATERIAL. IF YOU WANT a real man’s knife, made for heavy duty, tactical work, this is the knife for you.

This is a super, solidly built knife.  I love the thick, drop point blade and skeletonize handle to trim the weight.   When I carry the folding Adamas I carry it inside my waistband at the 4:00 position.  My 1.5 inch belt covers the clip.  It then does not weigh down a pocket or broadcast to the world that I have a knife and that I&#039;m either left- or right-handed.  The knife is easily retrieved and opened with one hand.  I mounted the nylon molle case on my Vanqest backpack for daily carry where it is easily retrievable but not obvious.  It&#039;s not really a Bushmaster design but strong enough to use for many outdoor activities, not just self-defense.  It is not my everyday carry but it is a great knife to have in one&#039;s collection and it can be carried EDC in comfort without the case.

I don&#039;t carry it as much as I should because the weight makes my jeans pocket sag and look awkward. I appreciate that it came with a sheath, but I&#039;m all about pocket carry.

Most expensive knife I own but it&#039;s built like a tank. This is my most used folding knife and I&#039;m not afraid to put a beating on it. Only complaint is I think it should have a better sheath.

My first impression when I pulled the Adamas from it’s box and handled it was ‘Holy s**t, a folding Ka-Bar’. I love the heft and straight lines, tight tolerances, razor-sharp edge and sure lock-up. The clip allows it to ride low in my pocket for relatively discreet carry. Of course, Benchmade and Made In The USA are big pluses for me. Being a Spyderco guy, I’m not a big fan of thumb-studs, discs and wave deployment (I owned an Emerson Commander and CQC-7) and the smallish studs of my knife took awhile to get use to. In my view, the Adamas leans more toward utility than fighter and has the flexibility as an EOF tool, with the option of being used as a fist-load. This Sibert Collaboration evoke images of Guadalcanal, Inchon, Khe Sanh, Fallujah, Kandahar and a definite winner. 

This is my first and definitely not my last Benchmade. Couldn&#039;t get the auto delivered to Boston so went with the axis lock and I love it. Solid beast of a knife and the skeletonized handle is the icing on the cake! Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a large EDC to add to their collection. 

Great knife!  Solid and very sharp.  Looks badass, too.  Feels good in the hand and easy to carry in jeans or cargo pants/shorts.  Only issues:  (1) The pocket clip was very tight, but I fixed this by loosing the screws a tiny bit.  (2) I wish the thumb studs were just a bit larger, but that may just be me.  All in all another winner from Benchmade.  I have one of their butterfly knives (for over 25 years) and an AFO (over 10 years), but I think the Adamas is my favorite.  I will buy the automatic version next (or the Presidio, or maybe both.  Lol.)

This knife is an absolute Beast! It has quite a hefty weight to it so some may feel this knife is only fitted for a certain use but I tell you what I carry it everyday and I have no issues. The blade is tough as hell and holds an edge incredibly well! The axis lock is smooth and I&#039;ve never experienced any issues whatsoever with it. I have literally chopped down a 4-inch diameter tree with this knife just to test it and the edge was just as good as when I started and the blade showed no sign of Wiggle afterwards. If you&#039;re looking to fight an entire Army, chop an engine block in half, and cut cinder blocks with ease this Benchmade is for you! What a monstrous folding knife!

Tell you what buddyrow- this Adamas is one off the scales tough hard use knife! From the moment you pick it up you feel as though you could pry elevator doors open with it (just a figure of speech...don&#039;t try it -you&#039;ll get in trouble -LOL !) Anyway..the fit and finish is impeccable and the D2 blade is typical Benchmade hair shaving sharp! I don&#039;t find the 7.7 ounce  weight to be a deterent to EDC and everyone who sees my 275 admires the great craftsmanship.I&#039;m very happy with my Adamas that I purchased from BladeHQ (those guys and gals provide some of the fastest shipping I&#039;ve experienced...if you are thinking about getting a mega capable tactical (ie, workhorse) knife look no further than the Benchmade 275 Adamas...you won&#039;t regret it--Mike V.
