Aside from most likely intended purpose of being attached to a plate carrier this knife works perfectly clipped inside a cargo pocket. I keep the bottom of the sheath dummy corded to the button hole of the cargo pocket. Knife draws easily with weak side index finger for a defensive position ice pick grip. Could also work iwb as well as in other creative positions. Very light backup knife.

Great backup knife. I was surprised to see that only the tip was sharpened (man I miss knife shops where you could touch things before buying). I sharpened both edges the rest of the way down with a little manual labor. The edge retention is surprisingly strong, better than a lot of my other knives. It&#039;s a very specific tool with a very specific use. I eventually cut myself trying to treat it like a utility knife. You&#039;ll serve yourself best with an index finger in the loop for an ice-pick grip (fun to twirl!). I knocked a star off because of a slight rattle it makes in the sheath. That annoys me when I hear it and I&#039;m not sure how to fix that one. 

This is by no means a primary knife of any sorts. It however is an excellent backup defensive blade. The edge is not super refined however it will definitely get the job done. The only really issue I have with this knife is the pocket clip doesn&#039;t really hold the sheath in place so if you are carrying it in a pocket without any other retention it has a tendency to pull the sheath out of the pocket with the knife.
