I have gotten the urge to EDC a fixed blade and went back and forth on different manufacturers and models (ESEE Izula and Red Horse Hell Razor) but it eventually ended up being the Benchmade Altitude. Initial impression is it’s super lightweight but still sturdy. If you were to take a Benchmade Bugout and turn it into a fixed blade, this would be the result. I bought an aftermarket IWB sheath and carry this knife everyday. I use it for opening boxes, cutting fishing line and it’s intended purpose processing meat. Would recommend to anyone who wants a premium, lightweight fixed blade.
